RPR-PARNAS and the Syrian crisis

The article continues the cycle of publications devoted to views on foreign policy of the Russian opposition. This time it will be about one of the most notable Russian right-wing liberal parties RPR-PARNAS. The article analyzes the vision this part of the opposition liberals the main causes, major events and the most probable perspectives of the civil war, ongoing since 2011 in Syria. A special place is given to their estimates of Russia's role in the Syrian crisis.

Views of foreign policy of the Russian liberal opposition (on the example of RPR-PARNAS)

In the article author continues his series of publications devoted to views on foreign policy among Russian opposition. This time he focused on the approaches to the international problems by the largest Right-wing liberal party of Russia — RPR-PARNAS. Special attention is given to estimates by the Russian oppositional liberals of such pressing questions as Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization, diplomatic clashes over the issues of euroassociation of some former Soviet Republics, civil war in Syria, and « The Magnitsky's Law».

The Russian parliament and the foreign policy of country after February revolution

After February revolution the foreign policy of the country became a subject of serious disagreements in the Russian society. Lack of the coordinated foreign policy priorities, the distinct purposes and tasks in the field of the international relations led to decrease in productivity of the Russian diplomacy, was a source of a political tension within the country.

The role of representation power in developing foreign policy of the Russian Empire (April 1906 – June 1907)

The paper studies the role played by the State Duma in developing foreign policy of the Russian Empire during the First Russian revolution. Competences of the representation power do not extend to foreign policy. However, the State Law, adopted in 1906, gave members of Parliament tools of indirect control that enabled them to influence current activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to shape foreign policy of the country
